Libraries Wales

A new brand, website and book search system for libraries in Wales

Logo for Libraries Wales

Project Overview

Libraries Wales is a national platform that helps people find their nearest library, explore resources, join events, and discover what’s happening in libraries across Wales.

Pobl led a full rebrand for this National Library of Wales and Welsh Government initiative, alongside the design and development of a new bilingual website and a bespoke book browsing system. At the core of the platform is a custom-built database and integration with the national Civica library system, allowing users to search and access resources from libraries across Wales in one place.

The result is a clearer, more accessible service that brings together content, data, and local library activity into a single, easy-to-use experience for users and internal teams alike.
