Project overview

Ogi is Wales’s leading alternative network provider, building a new full-fibre network across towns and villages throughout the country.

Pobl was brought in to rethink and rebuild the customer journey. We redesigned the experience end to end, creating a clearer path to purchase, improving conversion, and integrating One Touch Switching to support a smoother, more compliant sign-up process.

Our approach

We took a user-first approach, redesigning the customer journey from the ground up. Every step, from initial search through to checkout, was rethought to remove friction and improve clarity.

This included restructuring page layouts, simplifying product choices, and introducing a more guided path to purchase. Alongside UX and design, we developed a robust technical solution that integrates directly with Ogi’s internal systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and custom postcode lookup tools.

The platform was built to be scalable, allowing Ogi to expand its services and adapt the journey as the business grows.

E-commerce & conversion

A key focus of the project was improving conversion. The new platform introduces a much clearer buying journey, with faster load times, simplified decision-making, and improved mobile usability.

We implemented a structured e-commerce flow that supports both new customers and switching users, including integration with One Touch Switching to ensure compliance and reduce barriers to sign-up.

Ongoing optimisation continues to refine performance, with a focus on increasing conversion rates, reducing drop-off, and improving overall customer experience.

Integration & technology

The platform is underpinned by a series of integrations that support both customer experience and internal operations. This includes:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration for customer and sales data
  • Custom postcode checker hosted on Azure infrastructure
  • One Touch Switching (TOTSCo) integration for broadband switching
  • API-driven architecture to support future services and products

These integrations ensure that the platform is not only user-friendly, but also operationally efficient and future-ready.

Results & impact

The result is a faster, more intuitive checkout platform that supports Ogi’s continued growth. Customers can now move through the journey more easily, from checking availability to completing sign-up, with fewer barriers and clearer information.

The improved structure and performance of the site has helped increase engagement and conversion, while providing Ogi with a flexible platform that can evolve alongside their network expansion.
